Print Version of Renewal

I have put a considerable amount of time and work into this decision, and I’m sorry to say that printed copies will have to wait. There are two main reasons. The first is that I can’t make the numbers work into a price that I’m comfortable asking for a trade paperback of Renewal. The second and more important reason is that I’m behind my own schedule on releasing Decay and the ebook novel version of Renewal. I think I would rather use my time to get those out that to spend a week formatting a novel for print. Perhaps some of you would agree…

Thanks to all of you who gave me your thoughts and support on the printing idea. I’m sure I’ll get to it before too long.

  1. I look forward to print editions of your work whenever you can fit it in your schedule. I love your writing so do whatever you need to do and keep the magic coming for all of your fans.

  2. I read all ten installments during a recent trip to FL. I couldn’t put down my Kindle! I learned a lot too about the need to prepare. I hope Decay will also help satisfy the curiosity of what happened with Arturo, Jimmy, David and the family … I liked the back and forth between time periods. Could you tie off old to new so we know what happened to our friends? Kind thanks, and well done!

  3. Jim,

I agree with the other poster about it being hard to put the Kindle down …

Considering the story so far – reading 4 it is curious that the print version is on the back burner.

What happens if an EMP destroys my access to my copy and the ‘net disappears? I do hope you have it backed up on paper 🙂

    Cheers Mick from Oz…

    • Thanks, Mick. The print version will be back before too long. Time and money are always the issues. For EMP protection, we could all just keep our electronics in a Faraday cage. Should be good to go. 🙂
